Our Universe, One of Many?

O-K, it's time to get back in here and post something!

I would like to hear from anyone that has had any type of experience that you feel is too weird to discuss with even your closest friends or family.

There is a lot more to this big ole universe than any of us can imagine, and occasionally, we are going to experience something rather unusual. The way I see it, our world, much less our entire universe, is way too complex to ever think we fully understand everything about it. How long does it take you to sit down and let your mind roam before you come across something you don't understand no matter how much you read or investigate about it? I'm betting, not too long!

One of my favorite pasttimes is to try to figure out why new discoveries occur when they do. Have you ever thought about why in the past 100 years things were discovered that had been around since the beginning of time? Is there any relevance to the part of the world these discoveries occurred in? We could ask a thousand questions that we can't quickly answer.

I invite all who read this to post their own experiences, questions, or musings. Let's get some dialogue started here and see where it leads. Try to stick loosely to this thread, however , if you just have to say something that doesn't directly relate, that's O-K too, just so you become involved. Perhaps what you say will relate to someone else who reads here and you will have done them a great service!

On a side note, I would like to extend a heartfelt expression of sympathy to anyone who suffered any hardship as the result of the recent Hurricanes and Tropical Storms throughout the Southeastern area of the USA. Whether you suffered directly, or had a family member or friend who suffered, our thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless you all.

O-K, now get busy writing your post!
Later,
Jon Myers
